How To Become TikTok Famous in 2022

One of the most common reader questions we get at TechJunkie is “How do I get famous on TikTok.” As you might expect, answering that question isn’t easy. We can’t tell you how to become famous, but we can give you some pointers that should help you get started.
TikTok is one of many ways to become a celebrity or influencer, but it is also one of the simplest. It’s a free-form performance platform where you can build a personal brand from your fifteen seconds of fame. It won’t make you a millionaire on its own but combined with other efforts, it could help you make a decent living.

Become famous on TikTok

Amber Doig-Thorne, who has already achieved fame on TikTok, offers some advice. She is worth listening to, with a couple million social media followers across all networks.

She says:

‘Consider what you want to do. Everyone has a specialty, whether it’s dancing, painting, or drawing; mine is a comedy, and there are so many options. I believe it is beneficial to understand your primary style before proceeding. ‘ Take a look at what’s popular. Do a cover of a popular song.’

Stop making excuses, download the app, and start uploading videos. Rome wasn’t built in a day, so be patient and persevere.’

Finding fame on TikTok

So Amber tells us what to do in order to become famous on the app, but not how to do it. This is where these suggestions come in handy. They won’t do the work for you, but if you combine them with your own efforts, you should see steady growth in your fan base.

1. Regularly publish high-quality content

Getting more followers on TikTok, like most social media platforms, requires consistent posting of content.

It’s best if you post at least once a day, every day. It may appear to be a lot, but on TikTok, you can’t really post too much.

More posts are always better, but the “post every day” rule has one exception. It’s fine to post 2-3 times per week if you’re a TikToker who creates longer-form content.

Also, don’t expect to become famous by posting garbage frequently. Your content must always be of high quality. Nobody wants to see low-quality content in their news feed.

2. Find your niche

If you want to be famous on TikTok, as Amber stated, you must find your niche. There are millions of people vying for your attention, and if you want to be noticed, you’ll have to be exceptionally good or completely unique. While you may already have a presence on TikTok, you must find your niche.

Start creating content on the platform once you know what you can do and are good at it. Start promoting yourself once you’ve reached a level where you believe you’re ready for the big time.

3. Think Outside the Box

“Think outside the box” may sound corny, but if you want to stand out on TikTok, you must be inventive.

It’s important to capitalize on trends (more on that later), but it’s also important to try to create them.

Don’t post the same thing as everyone else. Consider how you can add value to your niche or category. Make entertaining videos that people will want to share with their friends.

4. Work with influencers

To begin with, because you’re an unknown, influencers and crowns are unlikely to want to work with you. That could change if you have a unique niche, are completely unique, or are rapidly gaining a following. In any case, whenever you have the opportunity, work with crown holders.

In TikTok, collaborate, engage, follow, promote, and generally be seen with each other.

5. Accept that your content will not appeal to everyone.

Being famous on TikTok does not guarantee that everyone will like you. Some people will be offended by your content, and a few will criticize you.

It’s fine to listen to someone who disagrees with you, but it’s best to ignore someone who is being mean or downright negative.

If you want to become popular on TikTok, you should expect that some people will dislike your videos. Keep in mind that no one is liked by everyone.

6. Use data to drive your content

Yes, data can be tedious, but it can make a significant difference in your TikTok success. Identify popular songs, clips, or other media and incorporate them into your own content. What are you most like on TikTok? What exactly is being sought? This is a surefire way to attract attention and be noticed.

7. Network With Other TikTokers

There are many TikTokers who want to become famous, but not everyone views it as a competition. Be courteous to other TikTokers. Make friends with them and even collaborate with them.

Like their TikToks, leaving comments, and sending messages are all simple ways to interact with other TikTokers.

Don’t buy your fame

There are numerous services available that sell followers, crowns, or views. They all cost money and have the potential to gain popularity. However, TikTok is fighting back, and your followers may vanish or hold you back.

Also, TikTok users aren’t stupid, and they can spot someone who appears out of nowhere with thousands of followers who never say anything and all follow each other within hours of each other. This isn’t going to entice them to join you.

Most of us struggle to achieve fame. Practice, dedication, effort, and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears are required. Some people make it appear simple, but if you ask them how much effort they put into making it appear simple, they will most likely say very little.

Getting famous on TikTok is a worthy goal, and you can achieve it with these tips, whether you just want to feel good about yourself or want to make a career out of it.
