How can I turn on the caps lock on the iPhone keyboard?

You can’t bear having to hit the shift button for every letter on the iPhone virtual keyboard when you’re trying to shout at someone in a text message?

There is a caps lock function, but Apple disables it by default for some reason. To activate caps lock, type:

Touch Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> Enable Caps Lock -> ON

When you press the shift key on the keyboard (the up arrow on the left side of the screen), it acts like a conventional shift and caps one character.

Double-tapping the shift button will turn blue, indicating caps lock. Until you turn off the caps lock by hitting the shift button again, everything you enter will be in capital letters.
