What does OUT FOR DELIVERY mean – UPS?
Out For Delivery – In E-commerce, this means that the product you ordered has arrived at your nearest HUB and will be delivered before the end of the day, starting from the date you received the Message / Update.
Snapdeal primarily uses Third Party Courier Partners, so their supply chain and logistics will vary accordingly. Due to their unavailability at your location, I have seen Courier Partners keep fake updates and will deliver in the next 1–2 days from the day you receive the update.
When Snapdeal or any other online portal says a product is OUT FOR DELIVERY, it means it has arrived at a nearby hub and has been picked up by a courier partner to be delivered to you on that specific day.

Snapdeal delivery is impossible to believe. I had ordered something and needed it right away. They stated that it will be delivered between the 8th and 10th. Other sites, such as Flipkart and Amazon, usually deliver on time or ahead of schedule.
These people did not receive it by the 8th (on time), so I called them on the 9th and they said they gave it to the courier. They had given me the courier’s tracking code, so I called the courier, Mahindra courier.
They stated that the package has not even arrived in Hyderabad (the city of delivery) and that it will be delivered by the 12th. WTF? Snapdeal predicted a ranking of 8th to 10th. These people are claiming the 12th.
Snapdeal should cancel their contract with Mahindra courier, in my opinion. Furthermore, this courier uses a car, whereas Flipkart and Amazon’s courier partners use planes or trains. Horrible

What Does “Out For Delivery” Mean At UPS In 2022?
“Out for delivery” indicates that your package has left the final UPS facility and is being loaded onto a truck in your area to be delivered to you, ideally that day as of 2022. UPS typically delivers packages Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and in some cases on Sunway.

Tracking Event Descriptions
The phrase “out for delivery” generally refers to the fact that the item you purchased is physically on the truck that will transport it to your home.
“Last-mile delivery” refers to this stage of the logistics process. That is, your item may pass through several transit hubs or cross-docks on its way from the warehouse to your location, but once it leaves the final node – e.g., a USPS sorting center or a UPS/FedEx hub – on the truck that will deliver the item to your door, it is “out for delivery.”

How Long Does UPS Take Once A Package Is Out For Delivery?
When you see a tracking notification that says “out for delivery,” it’s easy to get excited because it means your package is almost there!
Still, the time it takes between when you receive the notification and when you receive the package varies, but it is almost always less than 12 hours from when you receive the message.
Furthermore, UPS delivery drivers typically leave their facilities at 9 a.m. with their trucks fully loaded with all of the packages they need to deliver that day.

In that case, you may not receive your package on the same day you receive a notification that it is “out for delivery.”
If this occurs, your tracking notification will change from “out for delivery” to “in transit,” indicating that your package is on its way back to a UPS facility.

Why Does My Package Say “Out For Delivery” But Hasn’t Been Delivered By UPS?
The “out for delivery” notification indicates that your package has been picked up from a local facility, loaded onto a delivery truck, and is on its way to you.
As you can see, this differs from the package being delivered in that it is the final step before delivery!
If you’ve already received your package but your tracking number still says “out for delivery,” it’s likely that your UPS courier forgot to scan the box at your door.
