Mike Tyson, the legendary boxer, is in hot water after an amateur video emerged of him allegedly assaulting a passenger on a flight after the man refused to leave him alone.
According to TMZ, the incident occurred Wednesday night on a JetBlue flight from San Francisco International Airport to Florida, and a video of the former heavyweight champion pummeling a fellow passenger has gone viral.
In the video, the man can be seen leaning over the seat in front of him, where Tyson was seated.
The man’s words are unclear, but he appears to be trying to get Tyson’s attention, as the 55-year-old boxing legend initially sat still and ignored the passenger.
The video is presented as a three-act play, with the passenger harassing Tyson while sitting behind him, Tyson in the middle of introducing said passenger to his fists, and the passenger making a mock pouting face while sporting some cuts on the side of his head, according to TMZ.
That video doesn’t tell the entire story, but according to TMZ, the passenger was heavily intoxicated and wouldn’t stop prodding Tyson in his seat.
Mike took a selfie with him, according to the witness, and then was patient with his overly enthusiastic friend, who kept trying to talk to the 55-year-old fighter as he sat behind him “TMZ reported.
“Tyson eventually had enough of the guy behind him talking in his ear and told him to chill, according to reports. When the man didn’t comply, the witness claims Tyson began throwing punches at the man’s face.”
After the incident, the man reportedly sought medical attention and went to the police station.”
