How to turn off Google Assistant
1. Open the Google app
Open the Google app on your Android phone (or tablet). Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner and choose Settings. .
2. Tap on your profile image in the top-right corner.
3. Select Settings.
4. Tap Google Assistant.
5. Hit General.
6. Toggle the slider next to Google Assistant, and you’re done
How to turn off ‘Hey, Google’ voice commands
If you don’t want Google to constantly listen for you to say “Hey, Google” or “OK, Google,” there’s a way to disable that feature without completely disabling the service. To learn how to do it, follow the steps below.
