Font sizes of 8, 10, and 12 pt will be used in many of the documents you create in programs like Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

For most font styles, this is a fairly standard text size that is readable on most document sizes.

If you’re making a banner or a poster on a larger piece of paper, you may need to increase the font size to make it visible from a distance.
When creating digital images in Adobe Photoshop, however, you may be more concerned with the pixel dimensions in order to upload the image to a website or share it on social media.

How to Make Text Bigger in Photoshop CS6

  1. Open the image.
  2. Select the Horizontal Type Tool.
  3. Click inside the Set the font size field.
  4. Replace the current font size with the desired one.
  5. Press Enter.

2.Click the Horizontal Type Tool from the toolbox at the left side of the window.



Click inside the Set the font size field in the text toolbar at the top of the window.



Delete the current pt size and enter your desired size.
